We make the cleanest products with the purest ingredients, but you don’t have to take our word for it – we have every one of our products tested and certified by multiple 3rd parties.
Every Do Vitamins product is 3rd party tested and certified.
Labdoor is an independent company that tests dietary supplements for purity, potency, and label accuracy. Each product is sent to an FDA-registered laboratory for detailed chemical analysis, which includes measurements of active ingredients and potential contaminants. Labdoor protects consumers by testing for harmful levels of contaminants (like heavy metals) and certifying that supplements contain the ingredients listed on the label and nothing else.
There are five components to the Labdoor quality testing program: Label Accuracy, Product Purity, Nutritional Value, Ingredient Safety, and Projected Efficacy.
Every Do Vitamins product is tested for banned substances.
In addition to the above quality certifications and testing, all Do Vitamins products go through further testing for banned substances. The Labdoor Tested for Sport program includes comprehensive testing of the World Anti-Doping Agency’s (WADA) Prohibited List of 200+ substances banned from sport, including stimulants, narcotics, steroids, diuretics, beta-2-agonists, masking agents and other substances. This program helps protect professional athletes against the adulteration of products and proves to everyone that Do Vitamins products are always clean and drug-free.
Description from Vegan.org:
“The Certified Vegan Logo is a registered trademark, similar in nature to the kosher mark, for products that do not contain animal products or byproducts and that have not been tested on animals. The certified logo is easily visible to consumers interested in vegan products and helps vegans to shop without constantly consulting ingredient lists. It also helps companies recognize a growing vegan market, as well as bringing the word Vegan—and the lifestyle it represents—into the mainstream. (Please keep in mind, however, that the logo is not yet on every vegan product.) The Certified Vegan Logo is currently on thousands of products manufactured by over 600 companies.
The Certified Vegan Logo is administered by The Vegan Awareness Foundation (official name of Vegan Action), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to educating the public about veganism and assisting vegan-friendly businesses.
Vegan is defined as: no animal or animal by-products to include flesh, bones, dairy, eggs, honey, fur, leather, wool, down feathers, and cosmetics or chemical products tested on animals.
Vegan Awareness Foundation requires that products approved to carry the Certified Vegan Logo must:
- not contain meat, fish, fowl, animal by-products (including silk or dyes from insects), eggs or egg products, milk or milk products, honey or honey bee products
- involve no animal testing of ingredients or finished product by supplier, producer, manufacturer or independent party
- provide supplier verification that animal products were not used in the manufacturing of ingredients
- contain no known animal-derived GMOs or genes used to manufacture ingredients or finished products
Companies must submit and have approved by the Vegan Awareness Foundation that acceptable steps are taken to thoroughly clean and sanitize all surfaces, vessels, utensils and machinery used between vegan and non-vegan production cycles to minimize cross-contamination if shared machinery is used.”
The Certified Paleo Friendly Certification is administered by the Paleo Foundation. From PaleoFoundation.com:
“The Certified Paleo, Paleo Approved, Paleo Friendly, and PaleoVegan logos are certification marks, similar to the “kosher” or “vegan” mark to indicate that a product does not contain ingredients that do not meet the basic tenets of the Paleo Diet. The logos are easily visible to consumers who are interesting in purchasing the highest quality Paleo products, and the logos help Paleo adherents make purchases with ease knowing that the products have been vetted by a third party.
The Non-GMO Project is a non-profit organization committed to preserving and building the non-GMO food supply, educating consumers, and providing verified non-GMO choices. They believe that everyone deserves an informed choice about whether or not to consume genetically modified organisms (so do we!). A full explanation of the seal is here: http://www.nongmoproject.org/learn-more/understanding-our-seal/
We agree with the Non-GMO Project’s mission, but going forward as of 2016, we have adopted the stricter and scientific IGEN standard.
The USDA Organic seal is the world’s leading organic standard.
Organic is a labeling term that indicates that the food or other agricultural product has been produced through approved methods. The organic standards describe the specific requirements that must be verified by a USDA-accredited certifying agent before products can be labeled USDA organic. We use QAI International for our organic certification.
Organic agriculture produces products using methods that preserve the environment and avoid most synthetic materials, such as pesticides and antibiotics. USDA organic standards describe how farmers grow crops and raise livestock and which materials they may use.
Organic farmers, ranchers, and food processors follow a defined set of standards to produce organic food and fiber. Congress described general organic principles in the Organic Foods Production Act, and the USDA defines specific organic standards. These standards cover the product from farm to table, including soil and water quality, pest control, livestock practices, and rules for food additives.
Organic farms and processors:
- Preserve natural resources and biodiversity
- Support animal health and welfare
- Provide access to the outdoors so that animals can exercise their natural behaviors
- Only use approved materials
- Do not use genetically modified ingredients
- Receive annual onsite inspections
- Separate organic food from non-organic food
Organic certification is designed for food products, and not vitamins, so certification is not available for our other, purely supplement products.
From the IFOS website:
The IFOS Program is the only third party testing and certification program exclusively for fish oils. As a voluntary, subscription-based service available to the entire fish oil supply chain, IFOS tests products by lot, using direct analysis, for active ingredient content, contaminants and freshness.
The purpose of IFOS is to allow companies to showcase their high quality, premium products, and to provide consumers with an easy, transparent way to compare fish oil products before they buy.
AlphaOmega® received a FIVE out of FIVE star IFOS rating: View the Report
AlphaOmega® is the only product we make certfied by IFOS, as AlphaOmega® is the only fish oil product we make.

The mission of American Humane Association is to ensure the welfare, wellness and well-being of children and animals, and to unleash the full potential of the bond between humans and animals to the mutual benefit of both.
The science-based standards that comprise the core practices of the American Humane Certified™ farm animal welfare certification program were created with input from animal science experts.
In order to constantly maintain the program’s effectiveness, American Humane Association regularly reviews and updates the standards with its distinguished Scientific Advisory Committee so that producers have the benefit of the latest global research, technological advances, best practices, and new methods for more humane care.
These thorough, comprehensive measures were built upon accepted values including:
- The “Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare” created by the Farm Animal Welfare Council and adopted as the welfare standards of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
- The Federation of Animal Science Societies' “Guide for the Care and Use of Agricultural Animals in Research and Teaching”
- Various other practical standards and animal husbandry guidelines.
WonderWhey® is the only product we make certified by the American Humane Society, because it is the only product we make that is eligible for its certification.
